I always train my legs 2X per week. Usually on a monday and again on friday. This helps keep them lean and mean! Mondays workout is heavy lifting and friday is plyometrics.
Monday-
6 exercises total
Warmup: walk on treadmil for 10 min
Squat 4 x15 (i usually do a back squat)
Leg Extension 4 x15
Straight leg dead lift 4 x15
Reverse Lunge 4 x15 (each leg)
Leg Press 4×15
Calf raise 4 x15
Cool down
Stretch
Quadriceps
Hamstrings
Hip Flexors
Gluteal muscles
DONE!
Friday-
Warmup: Jump Rope for 5 min
Circuit – 4 rounds – 15 reps of every exercise
1. Box Jump
2. Walking Lunges
3. Kettle Bell Swings
4. Body Weight Squat
5. Jump Squat
6. Hamstring curls with a ball
Rest no longer then 2 minutes
Cool down
Stretch
Quadriceps
Hamstrings
Hip Flexors
Gluteal muscles
